Record bucks from Blue Creek, Ohio

Adams County Outfitters is a hunting outfitter located in Blue Creek, Ohio that specializes in providing semi-guided fair chase hunts for trophy whitetail deer. We also offer spring turkey hunts.

The state of Ohio is quickly being known as one of the best places in the country for trophy whitetail bucks. Adams County has been stealing the headlines with the 291" Amish "Lucky" buck harvested in 2006. We also had a 213" BC buck harvested on our farm by our lead guide Brian Hayslip (see article in November 2007 issue of North American Whitetail). Adams County is located in the south central part of Ohio in the Appalachian foothills.

Adams County was one of the three first counties to introduce the Ohio modern deer season and after many years of Quality Deer Management it has earned the reputation as one of the best Trophy Whitetail Buck Regions in the nation. This is rough and hilly country with mature hardwoods and thick underbrush of green briar, wild rose, and blackberries. The kind of cover that allows the big bucks to reach there maturity.

The end of September till the beginning of February we offer semi-guided whitetail hunts. You will be hunting wild whitetail deer in their natural habitat. Our main farm is 370 acres adjoining Shawnee State Forest land. There will be some first time stand locations. We have sighted a few 170 plus class bucks and one 200 class buck on our farm that made it through the 07' / 08' season.

Looking forward to meeting you this year and happy hunting,
